Awards for Student Oral Presentation
Student Oral Presentation Awards will be presented for best student presentation.

1st Place: $1,000

2nd Place: $500
-
3rd Place: $500
ELIGIBILITY:
Registered (paid delegate) student author that acknowledges "Yes" as a
contestant for Student Oral Presentation Award and submits a
signed letter from department chair with abstract (on
the same day).
Co-authors are
not eligible to receive awards.
NOTE:
Abstracts submitted without a signed letter on the same day
will not be accepted for awards.

Awards will be presented at the Conference Banquet (Thursday, September
25th). All contestants should attend.

ELIGIBILITY:
Registered (paid delegate) author of any poster presented at the
meeting. Co-authors are not eligible to receive Poster Awards .ABSTRACT
FORM
Criteria for Poster
Award and Publication in our Conference Program Book
All poster
abstracts related to conference topics will be accepted and
eligible for poster awards. Travel subsidies will not be
available for presenters. The following is criteria for
poster awards and publication of your paper in
our conference program book:

Author of poster
paper must register for meeting prior to August 15,
2008 and be present at conference.

Poster paper
will be removed from program, conference program book and
poster competition if author has not registered prior to
August 15, 2008.

Authors of poster abstracts
are required to be present during Poster Session. Substitutions
of the original author will eliminate paper from poster
award competition.

Co-authors are not required to
be present.

No audio/visual equipment will
be allowed for poster presentation (No electrical will be
provided).
Poster
Awards- Poster papers will be selected for judging
prior to our meeting date. Selection will be based on
content of abstract. No notification regarding selected
papers will be disclosed or posted prior to meeting date.
Those selected will be reviewed by a panel of judges during
the Poster Session.
Awards will be presented to the author at the Conference Banquet
(Thursday, September 25th). All contestants should attend.
